The 16 year old ran from police but was captured a short time later. It was also found that the 19 year old had six active warrants seeking his arrest through various area agencies. He was held pending a case review by the Richmond Heights Prosecutor. The 16 year old was turned over to the St. Louis County Juvenile Detention Center.

A 19 year old male was taken into custody after an officer, using the license plate recognition system (LPR), received an active hit on a wanted vehicle. The vehicle was stopped and the warrant verified. While speaking with the operator, the officer smelled burnt marijuana. In a subsequent search of the vehicle the officer found a baggie of marijuana between the driver’s seat and console. The suspect, who had also been drinking, was booked and issued summonses for alcohol and drug related offenses.
